In 2024, Mazda’s SUV lineup welcomes the debut of the Mazda CX-90, expanding its offerings to include a three-row crossover SUV. As the largest model in the lineup, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 showcases a powerful design and elevates the experience with upscale features and finishes. Despite its size, the Mazda CX-90 exudes a sporty demeanor with its tall, rounded roof and sleek, angled contour running across the side doors. The front end is captivated by a molded bumper arching horizontally into sporty air vents, complemented by a low-mounted chrome bar. Surrounding the wide grille is a flared chrome bar featuring a unique, modern mesh design. The Mazda CX-90’s headlights are split into two parts and adorned with a distinctive bent LED light bar.
Step inside the Mazda CX-90, and an equally impressive interior greets you. A wide, stitched center console and a horizontal band winding across the dashboard intersect the center stack, which hosts a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen and the climate control system interface with toggle switches. The cabin boasts luxurious features such as a panoramic moonroof, exquisite materials with Kakenui stitching, heated seats, second-row captain’s chairs, USB ports, individual air vents for all passengers, and more. Safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, and a blind-spot detector.
The 2024 Mazda CX-90 offers two powertrain options. The first is a mild-hybrid, turbo 3.3-liter, I-6 engine generating 340 horsepower. The second is a plug-in hybrid, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter unit producing 323 horsepower. Both powertrains feature all-wheel drive and an automatic eight-speed transmission. The all-new SUV also boasts Mazda Intelligent Drive Select, offering modes for Towing, Off-Road, Sport, and Normal.
