 What’s New for the 2024 MAZDA CX-30?

For drivers who crave premium features and spirited performance from their next subcompact crossover SUV, the Mazda CX-30 is a top option. The Mazda CX-30 debuted in 2020 and continues to be a first-generation model in 2024. In 2024, however, the Carbon Turbo trim level debuts as a new possibility for shoppers to consider. This trim is exclusively available with a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbo engine, and this powertrain delivers 250 horsepower behind the wheel. The Mazda CX-30 Carbon Turbo stands out with its Terracotta leather upholstery, black wheels, and Zircon Sand exterior paint.

There are a few other updates to the 2024 Mazda CX-30 for you to check out. The 2023 model year’s Select trim evolves into the Select Sport trim for 2024. It now has a two-zone automatic climate control system, a leather-covered steering wheel and shift stick, the all-new Ceramic Black body paint, black faux leather upholstery, and upgraded wheels. In addition, if you choose one of the 2024 Mazda CX-30’s turbocharged trim levels, you can use a 10.3-inch infotainment system.

Overall, the body style of the 2024 Mazda CX-30 is unchanged. This sporty crossover SUV boasts a low profile with tall, decadently defined sides and robust molding. The sleekly shaped hood is accompanied by narrow LED headlights that trend dramatically toward the rear. Exterior features could include adaptive headlights, roof rails, a power liftgate, heated side mirrors, and a sunroof.

In addition to the turbo engine available in the Mazda CX-30 Carbon Turbo and the other two turbo trim levels, there is a standard gas engine. This is a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter unit paired with a six-speed auto transmission, and it produces 191 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard equipment for all of the 2024 Mazda CX-30 trim levels.

The 2024 Mazda CX-30 has many of the same interior and safety features as the 2023 model year offered. These include a surround-view camera, a Bose audio system, a heated steering wheel, traffic jam assist, parking sensors, paddle shifters, a head-up display, a navigation system, a blind-spot warning, keyless entry, and others.
